The Doghouse is a monthly music night that takes place on the first Friday of the month. Organiser and promoter Michael Ainsworth is a past visitor to Wychwood and he had the bright idea to offer to do some programming for the festival and introduce some of his favourite acts from the north to the Wychwood audience.

The Doghouse at Wychwood line-up features three days of brilliant up and coming artists with headline acts from Manchester's answer to Arcade Fire, the Air Cav, East Lancashire's blissed out psychedelic folksters The Loungs and rolling country folksters The Travelling Band. Michael says "we all have different and wide tastes in music at The Doghouse and we put on anything from ska to low-fi to alt-country, folk, electronica, hip-hop and alternative rock, often mixing styles on the same bill. The line-up we have selected for the Wychwood stage reflects that approach with a distinctively Northern feel."

See here for more info about the Doghouse at Wychwood and here for the complete line up.

First Wychwood Podcast now available

The first Wychwood Podcast is now available through itunes.
You can download and subscribe to it here

Hear interviews from Simon Emmerson of The Imagined Village and our comedy curator Andy Smart, as well as a taste of some of the music you will be hearing across the weekend.
